The National Library of Greece pays homage to Angelos Sikelianos on the 70-year anniversary of his death, in the framework of the cycle “Logos 9”, curated by Stavros Zoumboulakis, President of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Greece. The event titled Angelos Sikelianos  (1884-1951) will take place on Monday 20 December   2021, 19:00 to 21:00, in the Tower of Books of the National Library of Greece at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre. Entrance is free in order of priority upon arrival.

This event is organized in continuation of the one in June 2017 and the centennial of the publication of the work “Mother of God”, as the National Library of Greece aims to revive interest in the study of Sikelianos and his work.
