On the occasion of the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the Metapolitefsi, historians Angelos Syrigos and Evanthis Chatzivasileiou present in an accessible way the history of the period that has marked the modern history of the country.

It is necessary for the authors to clarify that the exact, correct, meaning of the term “Metapolitefsi”, which refers to the transition from one constitution to another and which covers the period from 23 July 1974 to 11 June 1975, is followed.
