The House of Cyprus, the Universitas Foundation, and Papazisis Publications present on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the House of Cyprus, (2A Xenophontos Street, Syntagma), Dr. Nikos Peristianis’ book “THE CONSTITUTION OF A DEEPLY DIVIDED SOCIETY, Reflections on the Cyprus Issue and its Resolution.”
The event will be addressed by Mr. Stavros Avgoustidis, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to Greece, Ms. Katerina Markou, Director of Papazisis Publications, and Mr. Sotiris Dalis, Professor and Chair of the Department of Mediterranean Studies, Director of the International and European Politics series.
Mr. Andreas Theophanous, Professor and President of the Cyprus Center for European and International Affairs at the University of Nicosia, will speak about the book.
Response and commentary by the author, Mr. Nikos Peristianis, President of the Universitas Foundation.
Presentation of the event – Translation and editing of the book by Ms. Katerina Hatzistilli, Historian and Director of the Universitas Foundation.
The discussion on “New Ideas on the Cyprus Issue?” will be moderated by Mr. George Evangelopoulos, Professor at Panteion University of Athens.
The event is being held with the support of the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Cyprus.
