
The National Library of Greece (NLG) invites its adult audience to its May and June 2026 events, which draw inspiration from books and literature and encourage self-expression and experiential learning. In this context, the public has the opportunity to explore its collections through activities that foster communication and dialogue, highlighting the joy of reading.

Pages That Bring Us Together
An initiative for adults that enriches the reading experience and fosters literary dialogue. Participants select a book from the Lending Collection’s “History and Memory in Modern Greek Prose. The Greek Past from the 19th Century to 1960,” and spend time reading it in silence. In small groups, they share experiences, thoughts, and feelings, delving into the literary representations of history.

Us and the World of Fairy Tales
The “Us and the World of Fairy Tales” program continues through May with an experiential workshop for adults. Starting with an illustrated book from the NLG Lending Collection, the workshop explores alternative forms of creative expression, play, and personal growth through a world filled with words, images, and stories.
