The Thessaloniki Central Municipal Library and Epikentro Publications invite the reading audience on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., to the “Dinos Christianopoulos” Event Hall at the Thessaloniki Central Municipal Library for the presentation of Andreas Venianakis’s book: ΕΑΜ in Thessaloniki (1944–1945).
The following speakers will discuss the book:
♦ Stratos Dordanas, Associate Professor of History, Department of History and Archaeology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
♦ Maria Kavala, Associate Professor of Modern History, Department of Political Science, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
♦ Vaios Kalogrias, Ph.D. in History from the University of Mainz, collaborator at the Asafenburg Municipal Archives, and Lecturer and Advisor at the Open University of Cyprus
The author’s wife, Nana Pavlidou, will deliver opening remarks.
The discussion will be moderated by Petros Papasarantopoulos, Ph.D. in Balkan Studies, publisher, and author.
