The exhibition catalog includes more than 20 small and large dioramas (three-dimensional representations of scenes) made from PLAYMOBIL figures and accessories. The dioramas depict scenes from everyday life in Greece in the early 19th century, as well as events from the 1821 Revolution: The refugees of Parga, the oath of the Philiki Etaireia, Alexander Ypsilantis crossing the Prouthos River, the Siege of Tripolitsa, and the exodus from Messolonghi are just some of the dioramas on display. In addition, more than 80 protagonists of the Revolution, Greeks, philhellenes, and Ottomans, men and women who played a decisive role in the course of events, are represented by PLAYMOBIL figures and accompanied by a short biography.

Natasha Kastriti, General Curator of EIM Collections, and the creators of the dioramas and specially made figures, Vasiliki Fati, Angelos Giakoumatos, and Stelios Mylonas, will talk about the catalog.
