 «Cafe latino & Kafenes»

Irini Toumbaki- Martha Moreleon -Marios Strofalis

Three special well-travelled artists come together in a musical journey from the cafés of Latin America to our own old cafés and Café Chantant.

Songs of survival and perpetual romance suggest the commonalities in the cultures of remote peoples.

The cafes here and there with the music and songs we love will always be oases in the harsh and unpleasant everyday life. All the more so if the music is live, as it was in the old days!

The Mexican Martha Moreleon and the Rhodesian Irini Toumbaki perform, to the sounds of soundtrack composer and pianist Marios Strophalis, great old Greek and Latin songs, as well as new original songs composed for them by Marios Strophalis.
