On the first day of the new year, STAGES A/LIVE presses play for the new season through the Onassis Foundation YouTube Channel. The Onassis Foundation continues to support the local indie music scene with a new cycle of taped live performances by groups and artists, under the title STAGES A/LIVE. Fortunately, music stages are back, but music never ends, and the Onassis Foundation’s digital project promises new adventures and presents popular artists in unexpected places. This year, the first band is Naxatras, the psychedelic rock band from Thessaloniki, who experiment with psych, progressive, blues, funk, stoner and oriental music. Naxatras will be taking to the stage of the Akontisma cultural hub in Kavala on Saturday, 1 January 2022 at 21:00, welcoming the new year on the digital stage of the Onassis Foundation, YouTube Channel. Combining their music with a psychedelic video show, Naxatras open the new cycle of STAGES A/LIVE, curated and directed by Christos Sarris.
