It began its journey in Thessaloniki in 1983, thanks to its dynamic founder, Zina Athanasiadou. It “descended” to Athens, to Psyrri and Kolonaki, thanks to the choice of the next generation, Marina Athanasiadou, to create the experimental space LAB Art Projects in 2000, as well as the art consultancy office aaa, athanasiadou art advice in 2004. In 2018, it dropped anchor in Paros to fill our summer excursions to our beloved Cycladic island with art. From November 14, 2025, ATHANASIADOU GALLERY invites us to visit its new space in Koukaki.

The exhibition program began in November with the project “Hazy Cosmic Jive!” by Irini Linardaki and HOPE (Konstantinos Ntagkas), curated by art historian Eleni Koukou in collaboration with the artists. The dialogue between the two creators during the preparation of the exhibition and the coexistence of their works in the exhibition space has a multiplicative effect in terms of the intensity and meanings they produce. Linardaki, who lives and works between Heraklion, Crete, and New York, is an artist with extensive experience in public space projects and environmental activism. She will be showing her work for the first time in an Athenian gallery. HOPE, known for his multifaceted artistic practice—which includes sculpture, collage, performance, and fanzines—will present a new series of ceramic sculptures.
