The musical element will dominate on Tuesday 31 December in the events organised by the municipality of Patras to welcome the New Year.
On New Year’s Eve the heart of Patras will be filled with musical notes and songs with ABOVE SUSPICION putting their own “signature” in the events of the festivities.
The band will give a special musical note to the events by holding an open concert at 1.30 pm at George Square. Above Suspicion consists of: Eleni Sandraveli (vocals), Yannis Aslanidis (bass), Andreas Zarkadakis (electric guitar), Konstantinos Paleologos-Dragasis (drums), Nikos Kontogeorgopoulos (keyboards).
Above Suspicion, is a six-member Patras-based music group which moves musically and stylistically in the genres of Greek and foreign Pop-Rock, Funky, Disco & art Greek song. Its repertoire and the way it will be presented on Tuesday noon will aim to convey to the audience the feeling of an open party, motivating them to dance, presenting a rich program of hits – Greek and foreign – from the 60,s 70,s 80,s 90,s 90,s 00,s as well as a program of Christmas songs (Greek and foreign).
PERFORMANCE WITH THE JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF MUNICIPAL MUSIC
The Jazz Orchestra of Municipal Music at 12.00 noon on Tuesday 31 December will be present at the events with a concert at the intersection of Gerokostopoulou and Riga Feraiou.
THE ” CIRCLE ” CLOSES ON SATURDAY 4 JANUARY WITH THE FILM “WHERE ANNA FRANK IS HIDING”
On Saturday 4 January the cycle of this year’s festive events closes with the screening of the film “Where is Anne Frank” – which will take place at 6.30 in the evening in cooperation with the Cultural Association of Arachovitika, in the Hall of the Municipal Store of Arachovitika.
