The Cultural Organization for one more year on the day of Tsiknopetnopti (Thursday, February 24), will “fill” Patra with music and songs, putting its own “stamp” on the events for the Patras Carnival.
Teachers and students of the Municipal Conservatory of Patra “Mikis Theodorakis”, the band of the municipality and a musical group with artists of the city will participate in the events.
At 11.00 in the morning, teachers and students of the Municipal Conservatory, in front of the new building of the Conservatory on Riga Feraiou Street, will perform carnival melodies and tunes in harmony with the spirit of the day.
The program will include the Conservatory’s trumpet teachers Dimitris Drimalas and Pericles Aliopis, students from their classes and a student from the Jazz department.
The baton will be taken at 11.30 by the Band of the Municipality of Patra which will play carnival music in the streets of the city and has prepared a musical event which will be presented in front of the town hall.
From 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm in the enclosed area of the Old Slaughterhouse a concert will be held with the band “E Men ke e Then“.
During the events, all health protocols will be followed.
