Cretan music is a language that conveys emotions and history. Stelios Stamatogiannakis, a genuine exponent of it, presents his own Crete and his own multi-sung compositions, in a more internal improvisational way, since music is a necessity that evolves according to the place, space and time. A mystagogical tour with the lute as the protagonist with an unplugged mood. Musical conversations with Yannis Tsourdalakis lyra/vocals and Stergios Karaiskos lute/guitar/vocals.

A few words about Stelios Stamatogiannakis This year Stelios Stamatogiannakis celebrates his 30 years of creation.
30 consecutive years of creativity with great artistic collaborations (Gerasimos Stamatogiannakis, Leonidas Klados, Nikos Manias, Manolis Kaklis, Giorgos Papadakis etc.) and with a great contribution to the Cretan cultural work through his great discography. A small sample of his songs, which he has signed the music and have been sung from coast to coast on our island are: “Kouvediazhe mou tou tu chevda”, “Osa taksidia me to nou”, “Me kapetanio tin kardia”, “Provale chaidemeno mu”, “Dose mu nioti defteri”, “Ela ti nychta ti glykia”, “Mew ti fourtouna tis zois”, “Fylla st’ anemou” , “Fevgo ki afino tin kardia” etc. In his performances he always refers to his two long-lasting collaborations – a milestone in his career – with his teachers & collaborators Gerasimos Stamatogiannakis & Leonidas Klados.
