The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) welcomes summer with its successful outdoor film screening series Park your Cinema and Park your Cinema Kids, which return this year to the Clearing at Stavros Niarchos Park for the eleventh consecutive year, as always, with free admission!

This is the SNFCC’s longest-running series of events, which has managed, over the years, to build a loyal audience of all ages. Year after year, audiences gather at Clearing to enjoy film screenings while lying on the grass under the starry sky, in a unique summer experience.

This year, adult audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy popular “musicals under the stars,” curated by the Thessaloniki International Film Festival. At the same time, children will watch films about friendship and family selected by the Athens International Children’s and Youth Film Festival. The season kicks off with a bang with two beloved films: the iconic musical Fame on May 29 and the live-action version of Lilo & Stitch on May 30.

Fame (1980)

Finding Nemo (2003)

Due to a shark attack in the neighborhood where the parents of the clownfish Nemo lived, the only fish to survive is his father, Marlin, and Nemo’s unhatched egg. Marlin’s overprotectiveness toward his only son, Nemo, leads him to take a dangerous risk, resulting in Nemo’s abduction by divers.
