There is an urgent need for all kinds of mattresses and animal feed.

The Municipality of Thessaloniki made an appeal for humanitarian aid to the business world of the region, but also to the citizens who are able to contribute in supporting the Municipalities and the people affected by the catastrophic fires of the last few days.

After contacting the Central Union of Municipalities in Greece, the Municipality of Thessaloniki was informed that there is an urgent need for all types of mattresses and animal feed.

Any companies or citizens able to offer these items may contact the Municipal Councilor for Civil Protection actions Vassilis Moyssidis, at 6955 511547.

The collection of items takes place in the foyer of the Thessaloniki City Hall 24/7 (tel. 2313 317.777).
