On Monday, May 1st, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) celebrates spring with a big celebration in the blooming Stavros Niarchos Park. From morning until late afternoon, music, dancing, kayaking on the canal, and creative workshops unfold in every corner of the SNFCC and invite us to return to its open spaces, winking at summer.
All May Day events are held with free admission thanks to the donations of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

Music | Glade 

DJ set by LABEAST (11.00-12.30, 14.00-15.00)

Bejeezus (12.30-14.00)

On May Day, Stavros Niarchos Park is flooded with music and smiles and invites us to live together unforgettable spring moments, as well as a first feeling of summer.
The party starts at 11.00 with a dance DJ set by LABEAST.
At 12: 30, we make an appointment with the Bejeezus in the clearing, for a concert full of dance music.
Bejeezus have been, for several years, one of the most distinctive pop dance music bands that manage to turn every show into an unstoppable party. Their special choices of favorite songs, whether of past decades or more recent radio hits, combined with the spicy timbre that the wind instruments give, certainly do not leave anyone unmoved, creating an atmosphere of big band music feast. Ideally, combining musical choices that move from Latin to swing and from dance pop to classic rock n’ roll creates the ultimate feel-good mood.

Kayaking in the canal

10.00-13.00, Canal (from the side of the Visitor Center)
The activity aims to get acquainted with kayaking, while at the same time being a different, rowing tour at the SNFCC!
Up to 20 participants per 30′. Free entry on a first come, first served basis.

For adults and children 8 years and older. For participation by children under 15 years of age, the participation of an adult is necessary.

Art workshop: Mrs. Kusama’s magical garden

for children 4 years and older
On the occasion of the series of sculptures by Yayoi Kusama With flowers that bloom tomorrow or flowers that bloom at midnight, we create fantastic three-dimensional gardens in which the colorful polka plants grow with their splashed foliage.
Up to 20 entries (10 children and 10 escorts) per slot. Free entry in order of priority

A participatory parade with millions of soap bubbles! Joy, dreams, smiles, and countless moments of carelessness come to life through a moving parade of soap bubbles.
