A collection of photos, personal items, people and places from the great refugee crisis of 2015 and 2016.

The second summer festival of the street magazine Shedia (‘raft’) ends with a new version of the multimedia, museum exhibition of the photographer Dimitris Koilalous entitled Caesura; the duration of a sigh, which was presented for the first time in 2019 at the Benaki Museum.

From Wednesday, September 1, Dimitris Koilalous will present the exhibition specially adapted for the home of the “shedia” magazine, presenting new photos and new versions of the photos of the 2019 exhibition.

Caesura; the duration of a sigh is a collection of photos, personal items, people and places from the great refugee crisis of 2015 and 2016, as recorded by Dimitris Koilalous on the Greek island and mainland borders, capturing the transitional situation of immigrants in Greece.
