
A special evening based on Chopin’s Nocturnes will be offered on Friday, March 14 at 20:00 by the Friends of Music Association in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Athens, with free admission for the public. On the piano is the internationally renowned Italian pianist Alberto Nones.

On the piano is the internationally renowned Italian pianist Alberto Nones.
Alberto Nones will perform 12 of Chopin’s 18 published Nocturnes, interspersed with readings from Céline’s “Journey to the End of the Night” that will serve as starting points for possible mental associations.
In addition to his musical studies, Nones holds bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in philosophy and politics. He is professor of Music History at the prestigious “G. Rossini” Conservatory in Pesaro and professor of piano at the “U. Giordano” Conservatory in Foggia and Rodi Garganico.
