The OPEN DOOR RUN is back for its 7th year and encourages us to run for a good cause! Once a year, Argyroupoli fills with energy, smiles, and people running together to support the work of Open Door. A sporting event that has now become a tradition and a wonderful opportunity for us all to come together.
The OPEN DOOR RUN, in addition to providing financial support for our work, also achieves an even more important goal: to give the general public the opportunity to get to know us better and discover the boundless potential of our wonderful children.
All proceeds from the 7th OPEN DOOR RUN will go toward supporting the operation of Open Door’s two Supported Living Homes, “FOTEINI” and “ARIADNE.” The two facilities offer adults with cerebral palsy a safe and family-like environment where they can live with dignity, independence, care, and meaningful participation in daily life.
The OPEN DOOR RUN will start at OPEN DOOR at 9:00 a.m. and includes 10-km and 5-km road races for adults, an 800-meter race for children, and a 400-meter special run for people with disabilities.
The 800-meter race and the 400-meter special run are free.
Online registration closes on Wednesday, September 23, at 3:00 p.m.
