ARTience by_PhonoQuest, in collaboration with the Center for Research – Tsitsanis Museum, the Region of Thessaly, and under the auspices of the Municipality of Trikala, presents the 3rd International ARTience Conference for the Voice with the theme “Vocal Education and New Trends” which will take place from October 20th to 22nd, 2023, at the Center for Research – Tsitsanis Museum in Trikala, Thessaly. The Conference is complemented by the Multidisciplinary Action “The Cry of War,” which is under the auspices and financial support of the Ministry of Culture and in collaboration with Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky University of Arts.

The Conference will host significant representatives from the artistic, educational, and scientific fields of Greece and abroad, aiming to foster a constructive dialogue that will lay the foundation for aligning vocal education in Greece with international standards. The Conference is open to all voice professionals, with a particular emphasis on voice and singing instructors.

During the Conference, we will discuss the new educational trends in the international community and the readiness of the Greek vocal education system to incorporate them. A comparison will be made between vocal education methods applied in Greece and those of international academic music institutions, while examining the Greek vocal education community’s capacity for upgrades. Furthermore, we will explore the opportunities provided by Greek tertiary education for the training of vocal instructors in modern vocal educational methods.

Corporate Social Responsibility

During the Conference, we will initiate a significant campaign that aligns with the essence of our Corporate Social Responsibility. Through this initiative, we aim to raise funds for scholarships benefiting the Trikala Municipal Conservatory. In light of the dramatic impacts of the recent floods affecting our region, we aspire to offer hope and support to the children of flood-affected families who face difficulties in continuing their musical studies. Through this initiative, we take practical steps to support our local community and make a positive impact on the lives of these young musical talents.

The 3rd International ARTience Conference for the Voice, through the collaboration of voice professionals, instructors, and experts in the field of voice, promotes the exchange of ideas, the dissemination of new methods, and the advancement of best practices in vocal education.
