A four-day collaborative action of contemporary artists and marble sculptors with the aim of highlighting the intangible cultural heritage of Greece.

The Panhellenic Holy Foundation of Evangelistria of Tinos, continuing its long tradition of supporting artists, organizes a four-day collaborative action of contemporary artists and marble sculptors from 28 to 31 October 2021 in Tinos.

Marble sculptors who live and work on the island collaborate with choreographer Anna Apergi in “Apheresis“, searching for the movement in the beat of the chisels, with the Beforelight group and create an art installation, searching for light in forgotten landscapes, and with musician Jeph Vanger, searching for sound within the marble. The Akoo-o Group creates a sound landscape inspired by the internal processes of the marble during its sculpting, while Gerasimos Avlamis collaborates with marble sculptors looking for color within the place that gave birth to the Tinian marble craftmanship. Along with the presentation of the works, there will be hiking trips and in situ speeches at selected open spaces, aiming at the open discussion and presentation of experiences and ideas.
