Five wedding gowns from Skopelos were delivered to the Cultural Organization of Patras, enriching its Costumes Department.
According to Wikipedia, the wedding gown or bridal dress is impressive, marked by the opulence of the material used and the contrast between the embroidered surface and the black one. Aesthetic influences are due to the island’s contact with the West in the framework of trade relations.
The dresses were presented in Agios Georgios Square on Wednesday 22 October.
