On Friday, May 8, at 7:30 a.m., Matins and the Festive Divine Liturgy will be chanted. The sacred services will be presided over by the abbot of the Holy Monastery of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary and Saint Panteleimon in Agia, Archimandrite Father Nikodimos Agathonikou.
Following the conclusion of the services, various dishes and the “Saint’s Feast” will be served to those in attendance by the Velika Cultural Association “Philoktitis” and the Melivia Cultural Association “Omiros,” while in specially designated areas, pilgrims and visitors will cook, eat, and celebrate, accompanied by a musical ensemble, as tradition dictates, until late afternoon.
