21 numbered bottles of “Labyrinth 21 Years” wine will be auctioned. The wine was released this year by the SKOURAS wine estate on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution of 1821, VERGOS Auctions and Domaine SKOURAS are organizing a charity auction on Friday, October 1st at 13:30, the entire proceeds of which will be donated to support the Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door.

The auction will take place at the premises of the Domaine SKOURAS without the presence of the public and will be broadcast live from the website www.vergosauctions.com. 21 numbered bottles of the anniversary “Labyrinth 21 Years” wine will be auctioned.

The Anniversary “Labyrinth” fine wine, with the symbolic name “21 Years” was aged carefully under ideal conditions for 21 whole years, from 1999 to 2020, and was released this year by the Domaine SKOURAS on the occasion of the anniversary. For this auction, it is accompanied by a special edition of 21 stories from the memoirs of General Makrygiannis. The bottle and the book are packaged in a handcrafted case, created for this occasion by the bookbinding and publishing laboratory of Babis Leggas, and together they make up an exceptional collectible commemorative item of the 200th Anniversary of the Greek Revolution.

This auction has one more special feature, as numbered bottles of Greek wine will be available for the first time through auction in the domestic market, something which is expected to be appreciated by both collectors and wine lovers at large.
