A two-day full of various cultural events is organized by the Municipality of Agia, starting on Friday, August 18, 2023.

More specifically, the public will have the opportunity to celebrate with their presence the event “World Gastronomy Day – Food Festival“, organized by the Municipality of Agia, the Region of Thessaly and the Community of Karytsa, on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.at Karytsa Primary School. The audience will taste a culinary buffet of local dishes, while after the dance events there will be a musical program with a DJ.

On the same day, for the residents of Agiokampos and the distinguished guests, a musical evening promises to take them on a journey to the moon. The musical tribute with the general title “Anchors Aweigh!” will be performed by the singer Antonia Visvikis with exceptional musicians (Spyros Kavallieratos-guitar, Nikos Exarchos-piano, Yiannis Karamaniolas-bass, Yiannis Makrygiannis-percussion). The event is organized by the Municipality of Agia, the Region of Thessaly, the Environmental Education Association of Skitis-Agiokampos and the Community of Skitis, on Friday August 18, 2023 at 9:00 pm, in the regeneration of Agiokampos.

The highlight of the Municipality’s events will, of course, be the Meeting of the Nivolianites, organized by the Municipality of Agia, the Region of Thessaly, the Cultural Beautification Association of Megalovryssos and the Community of Megalovryssos, on Saturday August 19, 2023 at 8:30pm, in the square of Megalovrysson. Agathi and Giorgos Dimitropoulos will present a program of folk songs while the event will be accompanied by dance classes of the Educational Cultural Association “Miltiadis Dallas”.
