The University of Cyprus is conducting a competition for the selection of artworks for the enhancement of the building facilities of the Faculty of Science and Applied Sciences & the Public Teaching Areas 01 of the University of Cyprus within the framework of Law 57(I)/2009. The Tender is conducted in two stages: Stage A Pre-selection, Stage B Final Selection.
Interested Artists can obtain the tender documents from the website of the Contracts and Purchasing Division of the University of Cyprus (www.ucy.ac.cy/procurement), by selecting the link “Award of Contracts – Contract Notices” and following the instructions included under the heading “Notices Outside the e-Procurement System”.
On Thursday 15 February 2024, a guided tour of the areas where the artworks are proposed to be placed will take place. The meeting place for those interested in participating in the tour is the atrium located on the ground floor of the Council – Senate Building Anastasios G Leventis (KAL01).
For any queries that may arise in relation to this competition, interested parties may, until Thursday 22 February 2024, contact the University of Cyprus, Contracts and Purchasing Division only by e-mail and only at the following address: [email protected].
The answers to these questions will be posted no later than Thursday 29 February 2024 on the website of the Contracts and Purchasing Division of the University of Cyprus, in the same place where the tender documents were posted.
Interested Cypriot artists must submit their proposals through their representative on Monday 08 April 2024 at office no. 227, on the second floor of the Council-Senate building Anastasios G. Leventis, at the University Campus, 1 Panepistimiou Avenue, 2109 Aglantzia, Nicosia, Nicosia.
Artists located outside Cyprus should use a courier service to the office no. 227, on the second floor of the Council-Symposium building Anastasios G. Leventis, at the University Campus, 1 Panepistimiou Avenue, 2109 Aglantzia, Nicosia, Nicosia within the given deadline as certified by the postmark. Particular care should be taken to ensure that the name of the artist does not appear as the sender, under penalty of exclusion.
Artists are advised to frequently visit the competition website for any changes (place of delivery, etc.)
