The organisation of the Career Days has become an institution for the Hellenic Open University Career Office. After the successful events in Athens and Thessaloniki, Patras will host the event that brings students and graduates closer to the job market.

This year especially and in the context of the extroversion actions of the HOU, the event:

• will be held in cooperation with the Chamber of Achaia and the Patras Port Authority SA
• is addressed to all students and graduates of higher education.

As part of the Career Days, face-to-face interviews will be held on Saturday 25 May 2024 at OLPA’s building complex B1 at the South Port of Patras.

The aim is for students and graduates of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, doctoral candidates or PhD holders to come into contact with potential employers through the recruitment interviews and to familiarise themselves with the job search procedures. Candidates should bring several copies of their CVs to submit to companies.

On the other hand, employers/businesses will be able to receive CVs from interested students and graduates and conduct face-to-face interviews to select staff. In addition, they will get in touch with the academic staff of the HOU and get to know the educational and research process taking place at the HOU.
