The 100% Hotel Show and the Architectural e-magazine Archetype.gr, in view of the 10th anniversary of the 100% Hotel Show, announce the Space Design Competition “Out of the box … in a box”.

Some Highlights

• The Competition aims to gather Architectural Proposals with the main characteristic of “Out of the Box” (unexpected, unconventional, transcendental, innovative), which can contribute to the creation of Hotels with Unique Characteristics.
• The Proposals to be submitted must be formulated in 2 specific space dimensions (“In a Box”, or “In a Double Box”), and must be related to the design of either a Hotel Space or a Special Construction for Hotel Use.
• The Competition is open to individuals or companies from the fields of Architectural Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Art and generally Creation (design-study-implementation). There is no cost for participation.
• All entries that qualify for the Short List (Finalist) will be exhibited in a specially designed space within the 100% Hotel Show 2022. The two proposals (one from each Category) that will collect the highest score (Jury and Public, in a quota of 60%-40%) will be provided with a space within the 100% Hotel Show 2022 Exhibition, in order to be implemented.

Timetable

• Declaration for submission: 22 July 2022
• Deadline for sending materials: 19 September 2022
• Announcement of short listed nominations: 26 September 2022
• Announcement of Awarded Entries: 12 October 2022
• Exhibition of short listed entries: 18-21 November 2022 during the 100% Hotel Show 2022
• Awards Ceremony: 18 November 2022 (in parallel with the 100% Hotel Design Awards 2022 Ceremony).
