The Ministry of Culture is launching two calls for expressions of interest for the submission of grant applications and/or patronage for actions to be carried out in 2024 in the field of Modern Cultural Heritage.
- The first call for expressions of interest is addressed to Intangible Cultural Heritage communities and civil society organisations to submit proposals for grants and/or patronage for actions aimed at promoting and safeguarding intangible cultural heritage.2.
- The second call for expressions of interest is addressed to Museums and Collections of Modern Culture, for the submission of grant applications and the provision of sponsorship for specific actions to be carried out during 2024. This call does not cover requests for operating costs or building infrastructure (except for disability accessibility interventions) and is not addressed to institutions supervised and regularly funded by the Ministry of Culture.
For the two Calls for Proposals concerning actions for the promotion of recent cultural heritage, it is noted that:
Interested bodies must be registered in the Register of Cultural Bodies (https://portal.culture.gov.gr/to-mitroo/odigos-mitroou-politistikon-foreon/). Non-registered operators, in order to register, will have to complete the process by 31 January 2024.
Proposals from interested Intangible Cultural Heritage stakeholders must be submitted electronically by 31 March by filling in the relevant application form.
Applications for grants and patronage for actions of Museums and Collections of Modern Culture will be submitted online from 1 February to 15 March 2024.
