In the Leigh Fermor House residency programme, the Benaki Museum collaborates with three academic institutions, Freie Universität Berlin (Centrum Modernes Griechenland), Princeton University (Stanley J. Seeger ’52 Center for Hellenic Studies) and UCLA – University of California Los Angeles (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center for the Study of Hellenic Culture).
Through respective proposal submission and evaluation procedures and common agreed criteria, each of the four institutions selects two (1+1) researchers per academic year – i.e. one for each hosting period.
