The categories of the competition are two: Painting and Photography.

Τhe magazine: “Kefalos – The Literary Magazine of Kefalonia” and the publishing house: “Kefalos Publications” announce the 1st Panhellenic Artistic Competition “Kefalos”.

The categories of the competition are two: Painting and Photography. In the painting category, you may participate with a work of your own, regardless of style and with a subject of your choice. You need to photograph the painting and send it as a high-definition photo (.jpeg). In the photography category, you may participate with one to two high definition photos (.jpeg) and with a subject of your choice, either in one or in both of the following subcategories: Color Photo and Black and White Photo.

The competition is open to adults (aged 18+) and high school students

You may only send the files of your project or works via e-mail or wetransfer.com (for large files) to the email address [email protected] in digital image format (.jpeg) until January 10, 2022. The following information is also required, in a word or pdf file: name, age, address, email, title, dimensions (for paintings), materials (for paintings) and year.

Awards: for each category (adults and high school students) there will be three awards, three commendations and three honorary distinctions. Everyone will receive an honorary participation award as a souvenir.

• Nikos Kottaridis, Visual Artist, Professor, Graduate of the Cyprus School of Fine Arts, Master’s Degree in Theology of Image.
• Leontios Petmezas, President of the Association of Visual Artists of Greece “O Apellis”, Art Historian, Book Critic, Author & Journalist
• Spyridon Trousas, Painter-Writer-Graduate of Rodos Advanced School of Tourism Education

The results will be announced no later than the first ten days of April 2022.
