The black and white photographs from the Nikos Politis Collection, sorted by activities and professions, depict a lengthy period which was still unsuspecting, handmade and hardened in Greece. They reveal the measure of human toil in a slowly changing country. The photographs, along with the texts by Katerina Schina, present an anthropological panorama of everyday relationships and the economy, with a variety of scenes with faces, jobs, workplaces, tools; all in the past, so moving and totally real.
