The present study aims to comprehend and highlight the concept of the “executive state” and the peculiarities and divergences of the Greek reform program compared to the “paradigm” of the Executive State that is dominant in the administratively developed western countries, ever since the financial crisis. Readers will be able to understand the theories about the Executive State with the occasional reform proposals for the organization and operation of the Public Administration, both at national and European level.
