Aris Konstantinidis, a leading figure in modern Greek architecture, combined his contemplative modernism with archaic and folk elements. In his architecture, as well as in his rich literary work, he envisioned and served a modern architecture that springs from the needs of each place, in harmony with the natural environment, and thus forms a distinct architectural language.
