With the organization and funding of the Region of Crete in the context of actions for the European Heritage Days, will be held a concert by the Thirathen vocal group , on 27 September and time 21:00 in the area of the Thirathen Museum(Riga Fereou Square 9) , admissions free.

Thirathen Vocal Group travels to the Mediterranean and sings traditional melodies in the bosom of the great sea. With Greece as the navigator, the songs that will be performed will unite the Mediterranean and sail musically from the Aegean and Ionian Seas to the Adriatic and Iberian Seas.

Mediterranean music is full of rich history and variety, reflecting the multicultural influences that have shaped the region. Each Mediterranean country has its own unique musical tradition, but there are also common elements that link these cultures.

In this musical journey, the Thirathen Vocal Group will unite different cultures with the Greek musical tradition and will sing in Arabic, Albanian, Turkish, Spanish and Greek.
