TRAVELLING TO CHINA
A photographic travelogue in the Far East
The Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, in the framework of the operation of the Centre for Chinese Studies, invites you to a unique journey to China, through the photographic lens of environmentalist Nikos Stantzos.
Having lived in the country for many years and having established strong ties with it, Mr. Stantzos shares experiences, narratives, facts about the history and art of China, as well as a lot of travel information in a series of 5 presentations, from February to April 2022. From Beijing and its outskirts, to the ancient capitals and the country’s borders, we navigate unknown places that retain the mystical atmosphere of the Far East.
Monuments and nature, ethnic groups, biodiversity and great technological achievements, as captured in travel photographs, surprise, impress and challenge us to learn about the unseen side of China.
