A sea message!

Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology welcomes October by inviting us on a journey from the Aegean to the Atlantic Ocean and reveals how the Cyclades are connected to the Azores and how Plato once interpreted the myth of the lost Atlantis.

Really, did this mythical, oceanic city ever exist? If it did exist, where was it and how did its inhabitants live there?

Using ancient Greek technology and our ability to solve puzzles, we sail from Nisyros and Santorini to the Pillars of Hercules and the Canary Islands to unravel the mystery of the lost Atlantis. We discover the naval technology, ships and entertainment inventions of the ancient Greeks and gradually set up a “piracy” team dedicated to finding the treasure of Atlantis! What could it be? Each of us has his own power and imagination…

Date/Time: Saturday 14  and Sunday 15 October, 12:00
