
The MSc of the Department of Tourism Management in the School of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Patras offers a Master’s Degree titled TOURISM DESTINATION AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT (Government Gazette 3092, Series B, July 14, 2021; Government Gazette 3245, Series B, June 24, 2022; and Government Gazette 1335, Series B, February 26, 2024).
The program lasts three (3) academic semesters, including the master’s thesis. Enrollment requires mandatory attendance in classes, either in person or online. The program will begin on September 28, 2026. Courses and other educational activities will be held in the Department of Tourism Management building on the University of Patras campus in Koukouli. Distance participation for students who wish to do so will be facilitated via the Zoom platform; students are required to have the appropriate equipment.
Degree Awarded. The program awards a Master of Science (MSc) in Tourism Destination and Business Management and offers two specializations:
a) Tourism Destination Management, and
b) Tourism Business Management.

Admission. The Master’s program accepts graduates of departments at Greek universities and technical colleges (TEI), as well as graduates of equivalent, recognized universities abroad. Members of the EEP, EDIP, and ETEP categories at universities, provided they meet the requirements, may, upon application, enroll as supernumerary students, with only one such student admitted per year to the Master’s program.
The maximum number of students admitted to the program leading to a Master of Science degree is set at fifty (50) for the 2026–2027 academic year.
In any case, selected candidates must submit all required supporting documents by October 31, 2026.

Those selected must register by November 10, 2026, at the latest.
Tuition Fees. The program charges tuition fees for its operation, set at 2,100€. Tuition fees are paid in three equal installments: the first upon enrollment of each graduate student, and the subsequent installments upon renewal of enrollment in subsequent semesters.
