Presentation of the new edition of “EN CHANIOIS” at the Chania Book Festival: June 23 at the Great Arsenal

The annual issue of the Chania Municipality’s magazine “EN CHANIOIS,” which includes the presentations from the symposium “Mikis Theodorakis: Present and Future,” held in Chania in December 2025, will be presented as part of the Chania Book Festival on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., at the Grand Arsenal.

The following speakers will discuss the publication:

Yannis Giannakakis, Deputy Mayor for Culture of the Municipality of Chania
Matthaios Frantzeskakis, President of the Pan-Cretan Association of Friends of Mikis Theodorakis, Director of the Chania Film Festival, and publisher
Barbara Perraki, philologist

The event is co-organized by the Municipality of Chania and the Pan-Cretan Association of Friends of Mikis Theodorakis.

Great Arsenal – Mediterranean Architecture Center

On the ground floor, a book bazaar featuring publications by the Municipality of Chania dedicated to the city’s history and architecture. Hours: daily, 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. through June 30.
