Video Art Miden is collaborating with the To Pikap Kato exhibition space in Thessaloniki to present a panorama of contemporary international video art on Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, 2026 (6:00–10:00 p.m.). The tribute features 110 artists and groups from around the world. Thematic sections curated by the Video Art Miden team will be screened, exploring contemporary trends, explorations, and issues of our time, such as artificial intelligence, history, memory, war, relentless productivity, personal experience, poetic narration, physical movement and expression, the wandering gaze and the journey, and the perception of a world (or worlds) in transition. There will also be screenings of selections from invited festivals and groups, specifically from the International Multidisciplinary Dare Dance Festival, which will present a selection of videodance works, Visualcontainer, which will present the Italian video art collection Panoramica*25, and the international collective of women video artists FemLink-Art Collective, which will present a thematic project titled “Magic.” Also participating are students from the 2nd Painting Workshop of the Department of Visual and Applied Arts at the School of Fine Arts of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in a selection titled “Emerging Frequencies.”

The screening program brings together many different interpretations and approaches to the contemporary world and the human condition. Many established video artists are participating, while at the same time fresh and youthful perspectives are emerging, focused on an exploration of the future—often dystopian and suffocating—where, however, sensitivity, empathy, critical humor, and existential concerns—which have always united people across time—set the tone and offer a note of optimism in an era that grows ever darker and harsher, testing human limits and shattering the vision of a utopia. It is clear that the works reflect an era in which parallel worlds converge and in which art and artists initiate a substantive dialogue on critical issues, both on conceptual and aesthetic levels, as well as on existential and social levels.

More specifically, the two-day program includes the following screening sessions:
