The exhibition’s title “Ιωάννα-Govanna-Jeanne Spiteris/Σπητέρη” derives from the way the artist signed her works and reflects the three languages, the three countries, and ultimately the three cities where she resided for most of her life, Athens-Venice-Paris-Athens, and where she created almost all of her work.

The retrospective exhibition of Ioanna Spiteri, organized by the Telogleio Foundation forty years after her last solo exhibition, presents for the first time her entire work to the public, paying tribute to the Greek sculptor with a successful career both in Greece and abroad.
