The city celebrates the patron saints of Agia, Saints Anthony, on Friday, January 16, and Saturday, January 17.

The church events will be held by the Municipality of Agia and the Holy Metropolis of Demetrias according to the following schedule:

– 6:00 p.m. Grand Festive Vespers followed by a sermon by His Eminence Epiphanius of Olvia

Saturday, January 17, 2026

– 7:30 a.m. Matins

– 9:00 a.m. Archiepiscopal Divine Liturgy followed by a sermon by His Eminence, Metropolitan Ignatius of Demetrias and Agia

– 10:00 a.m. Arrival of dignitaries

– 10:30 a.m. End of Divine Liturgy

– Procession of the Holy Icon of SAINT ANTONY

– Reception at City Hall (Central Eleftherias Square)
