
The Ministry of Culture announces that, on Monday, December 1, 2025, it will publish thirteen calls for expressions of interest as part of the program for subsidizing and/or sponsoring actions in the field of Contemporary Culture and Modern Cultural Heritage.

“Creative Greece – Grants for Contemporary Culture 2026”
- Activities in the field of books, literature, and reading,
Cultural activities and programs to promote universal accessibility to culture for people with disabilities,
Cultural activities and programs for children and adolescents (up to 18 years of age),
Activities in the visual arts, architecture, photography, and design,
Activities of museums, art galleries, and collections,
Professional theater groups for the purpose of staging theatrical productions, festivals, tours, and theater events,
Musical performances, philharmonic orchestras, music festivals, tours, and music events,
Classical and Contemporary Dance Groups for the purpose of staging Productions, Festivals, Tours, Classical and Contemporary Dance Events,
Digital Cultural Activities,
Multithematic Festivals/Activities.
“Newer Cultural Heritage 2026”
- Actions for the Promotion and Preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage
- Actions by Museums and Collections of Modern Culture
- Traditional/Folk Dance and Music Festival (Folklore Festival 2026)
The invitations are addressed to non-profit legal entities governed by private or public law, with cultural and/or charitable purposes, in accordance with their statutes.
In order to submit their proposal, interested parties must be registered in the Ministry of Culture’s Register of Cultural Organizations, following the steps outlined here.
Entities already registered in the Register must have updated their identity details so that they are correct and complete at the time of submission of the proposal.
In order to register, non-registered entities must complete the process by January 16, 2026.
The deadline for registration in the Register of Cultural Entities is exclusively the date of submission of the responsible registration statement to the e-mail: [email protected], and not the date of electronic submission of the body’s identity.
Interested entities can submit their proposals electronically from December 1, 2025, to January 20, 2026.

The call for expressions of interest for the submission of grant applications and/or sponsorship requests relating to film and audiovisual activities and film festivals to be held or launched in 2026 will be issued by EKKOMED.
