
Title: Research Scientist
Theme: History of the Book and the reception of Greek intellectual heritage in the early modern period (15th-17th centuries).

The Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Cyprus is advertising a position for a full-time or part-time Research Associate (full-time corresponds to 140 hours/month). The successful candidate will work in collaboration with Dr. Natassa Constantinou on the history of the book (16th century). More specifically, they will conduct research on an aspect of Greek book publishing in Western Europe during the 16th century, in areas such as France, the Holy Roman Empire, the Italian city-states, or the Netherlands.
The position is funded by the WIDERA/Twinning Horizon Europe program GrECI (Greek heritage in European Culture and Identity, www.greci-twinning.org). The successful candidate will also benefit from collaboration with the University of Oslo (Prof. Han Lamers, UiO, Norway) and the University of Franche-Comté (Prof. Marie Barral-Baron UFC, France).
The program team meets regularly, both online and in person.
