The Postgraduate Program (MSc) in “Tourism Business and Destination Management,” which has been operating since the 2022-2023 academic year within the Department of Tourism Management at the University of Patras, offers a comprehensive and scientifically grounded curriculum in the rapidly evolving tourism sector.

The program spans three full-time academic semesters and awards 90 ECTS credits. Instruction is delivered in a hybrid format—either synchronous online or in-person, according to student preference—three days per week, thereby providing flexibility for working students and industry professionals.

The curriculum features two specialization tracks:

Tourism Destination Management, focusing on sustainable and strategic development, cultural management, social impact, and the application of new technologies to enhance the tourist experience.

Tourism Enterprise Management, emphasizing administrative and financial operations of tourism businesses, marketing, satisfaction analysis, crisis management, and digital transformation.

The program structure includes seven compulsory courses, three elective courses aligned with the chosen specialization, and the completion of a master’s thesis in the third semester under the supervision of a program faculty member.
