
The ‘’Thirathen’’ Museum in collaboration with Evangelia Mikrogiannaki, creates the Seminar for the management of Musculoskeletal pains that concern musicians.
The Seminar will take place at the Thirathen Museum, on Saturday 31 May at 17:00 – 20:00 in the afternoon.
Indicatively the programme includes :
- Getting to know – discussion – information of the participant
- Reference to the anatomy and kinesiology of the spine and the shoulder girdle
- Theoretical approach to the musculoskeletal problems faced by musicians
- Discussion: the musculoskeletal problems faced by participants – questions
- Training of core muscle activation and correct posture
- Introduction – performing basic warm-up exercises before the start of the exercise
- Discussion: questions about the exercises – the sense of the body
- Spinal and shoulder mobility exercises to prevent and relieve pain from sitting
- Personal time for familiarisation with the specific exercises
- Discussion: questions about the exercises – body sensation
