The Greek Community of Trieste on December 20 organizes an evening dedicated to music and Greek culture. The Greeks of Trieste wish to spend an evening together with friends, with all those who participate in the numerous activities of this Community, with all those who recognize a part of themselves in Greek culture.

The message of the evening is to share what we love and what moves us with those who are next to us. Only in this way can people really get to know each other, respect each other and coexist. Culture, music and art in general often take on this role: to unite, to build bridges that connect different people and cultures.

This city, whose streets were walked by Rigas Feraeus, Konstantinos Koumas, Lambros Katsonis, which is inextricably linked to the history of our country, is historically a living laboratory of people with different cultures, religions and languages.

The Greeks, with an uninterrupted presence for more than two centuries, are now an integral part of the city in the North-Eastern Adriatic and continue the heavy tradition inherited from their ancestors when they decided to settle in Trieste in the mid-18th century.

The evening will be full of wonderful music and melodies, the names of the artists guarantee that the guests will experience the most beautiful side of our musical heritage. We will remember Mimis Plessas, dance to traditional and folk rhythms and watch with great interest the surprises that the event will offer.
