The group exhibition, which is entering its second month of organization with great success, brings together 45 of the most important contemporary artists who express themselves through (and with) ceramic art. Echoing the new artistic movement around ceramics, the exhibition, curated by Faye Tzanetoulakou and Dimitris Sarafianos, emphasizes the emergence of new artistic trends, innovative ways of expression through clay and primary materials, as well as the contemporary issues currently being negotiated by creative artists. The starting point is the Greek ceramist and educator Mary Hadjinikoli, who dedicated herself to ceramic art, not as a commercial product but as a vehicle for artistic experimentation, self-knowledge and collective quest.
In the context of the exhibition Cthonio Fos, the hospitable space of the Lofos art project in Kypseli becomes the platform for expression, dialogue, reflections and proposals on ceramic art and not only. In particular, the following events take place in December:
