The Fougaron Library and Kastaniotis Publications are organizing on Sunday 01 December 2024 the presentation of the reissue of the book “Where does the wolf live?”, accompanied by a very personal postscript by the author about the years of the dictatorship.
Erifili Maronitis, journalist, philologist and translator, will coordinate the presentation and will discuss with Rea Galanaki about her work, on the occasion of the Grand Prize of Letters 2023, awarded to her this year.
about the book
Where does the wolf live?, with the dedication “For the companions, from ’67 to ’74”, exhausted by decades, is reissued exactly fifty years after the iconic 1974. […] A personal postscript traces my participation in the events I lived through – in history, in other words, as it is now autonomous from experience, forgotten by most, but continues to demand our empathy, our humility, our thoughtfulness.
