On September 13th, the 2nd Summer School on the topic “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: VIEWS & PERSPECTIVES”, which was co-organized by the Municipality of Lixouri with the Hellenic Open University (HOU) and the Laboratory of Communication of Science, Technology and Medicine, in the framework of their Memorandum of Understanding, was successfully completed.

The Summer School welcomed students and scientists from Greece and abroad, who were hosted by the Municipality of Lixouri. The Summer School was taught by members of the academic community and expert researchers exploring issues such as the legal dimensions of AI as well as the relationship of AI with philosophy, work, society and religion.

It is important to note that this initiative, which took place in the village where a philosophical school operated in the early 18th century by the enlightened scholar Vincenzo Damodo, demonstrates the potential of the Greek region for high quality actions that we should not only recognize but also support.
