On Wednesday 18 September 2024, at 19:30, in the garden of the Historical Museum of Crete (Sofokli Venizelou 27, Heraklion), will take place the presentation of the book For Christoforos Liontakis, Critical Texts edited by Antonis Kartsakis, series director Theodosis Pilarinos, Aigaion Publications (Anastasia Dimopoulou), Nicosia 2024.

The 540 pages of the publication include: an introduction, which summarizes the positions of critics from time to time, a chronology, an autobiography, papers on Christoforos Liontakis, a global view of his poetry, critical assessments of each poetry collection, an interview with the poet, an anthology of poems.

Speakers at the event:

Yannis Doukas, poet, PhD in Classical Literature
Varvara Roussou, permanent lecturer at the Athens School of Fine Arts,
Antonis Kartsakis, editor.

The event will be introduced by the author Claire Mitsotaki, vice-president of the Society of Cretan Historical Studies.

Poems by Christoforos Liontakis will be read by Sotiria Vlahaki, a postgraduate student of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Thessaloniki.
